Dong-Eui Medical Center was established in 1990 for community service and health improvement of Busan by the distinguished private Dong-Eui University Foundation, which educates excellent students with ideas of Truth, Justice, and Initiative.
About 700 staff members, including 138 physicians, diagnose and give medical treatment to 550 inpatients and 1500 outpatients daily. We are equipped with advanced technology medical systems and equipment, such as Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Computed Tomography (CT), and information systems to compete with hospitals in Korea and worldwide. Also, we constantly strive to improve our staff and all facilities.
Dong-Eui Medical Center has been giving medical treatment for U.S. military personnel and their families as well as civilians who are stationed in Busan and Kyung-Nam regions. Since it made an agreement and signed "Memorandum Of Understanding" between the U.S Army 18th MEDICOM and Dong-Eui Medical Center, it has been providing the highest quality of medical care for U.S military personnel and their families by hiring an English speaking U.S.A RN giving complete guidance during their hospital visits and/or hospitalizations.
Dong-Eui Medical Center has 24 clinical departments and a variety of special clinics which include many other educational programs for health promotional purpose especially with the combination of oriental medical treatment and modern medical treatments, and these have been providing the greatest satisfaction to the patients.
